These photographs were all taken in the region of the Sourland Mountain in central New Jersey, where I live. Many of these images are from my back yard. I consider the sunrise photograph good justification for always having a camera on hand - you never know when some magical moment will present itself. I remember that morning, the colors were changing so quickly, I only had about a 2 minute window to capture that image. Sunsets always seem to last longer - I wonder why.
